Top Reasons To Book Flights To Thailand This Year

Thailand is one of the most visited places in the world, and to anybody who’s ever been there, it’s not surprising. Sandy beaches, exciting night-life, beautiful temples and some of the best shopping in the world all attract millions of tourists every year. Here are some of Thailand’s must-see destinations.

1. Bangkok

View of the City

The number one destination for all visitors to Thailand is Bangkok. As one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the world, Bangkok will give you an unforgettable experience. If you were thinking of buying some souvenirs, you’ll find that Bangkok is home to some of the most amazing malls, and will give you a shopping experience like no other. If you’d prefer something more traditional, you don’t get much better than the Floating Market. But beware, if you want to buy something you’ll have to hail down a longboat to get it! It’s hard work, but good fun.

Whilst you’re in Bangkok, be sure to visit The Grand Palace, home to the King of Thailand for 150 years. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, or Wat Phra Kaew, is situated within the palace and is one of the most important temples in Thailand. These landmarks are well worth a visit, and as many flights to Thailand land in Bangkok, they are easy places to get to.

As for night-life, Bangkok is home to Soi Cowboy, a famous and popular red light district, named after the African-American who opened the very first bar there in the 1970s. Well, actually named after his cowboy hat. Prepare for bright lights, strong drinks, go-go dancers and all that comes with it!

2. Phuket

Another place to visit in Thailand, and one of the most popular holiday destinations, is Phuket. If you’re looking for a holiday resort with the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, Phuket has everything you need. There are plenty of activities available here, including water sports, golf courses, luxurious spas, and, of course, some fantastic night-life.

Visit the famous James Bond Island to see some of the places made famous in the film ‘The Man with the Golden Gun,’ and take a trip to the fishing village of Koh Panyee, well-known for having been almost entirely built on stilts. You can visit these destinations on boat trips from Phuket.

A cultural theme park

Another great place to visit in Phuket is Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park, and one of the largest in Asia. With plenty of adventures to be had mixing together modern technology and Thailand’s rich history and culture, Phuket FantaSea is an unforgettable place. Enjoy buffet restaurants, shopping, crazy lights and colours and even an elephant theatre.

3. Pattaya

Mini Siam

This is yet another seaside resort, but has some slightly different activities to explore. One of the best things to do in Pattaya is visit Mini Siam. Mini Siam is a park where you can visit over 80 of the world’s most famous landmarks without even leaving. Mini replicas have been built of these landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Sydney Opera House, Buckingham Palace, the Eiffel Tower, and many more.

If you’d rather experience Pattaya on a bigger scale, visit Underwater World Pattaya. This 100m underwater tunnel will get you up close and personal with many different species of exotic and interesting fish and sea-mammals. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a feeding show! And speaking of life on a big scale, the performers at The Tiffany’s show know how to live life to the fullest. As one of the very best transvestite shows, full of talented performers, it’s well worth a watch.

And finally, anyone staying in Pattaya should visit the Sanctuary of Truth, a beautiful building that pays tribute to the seven creators of man: Earth, Heaven, Woman, Man, Moon, Sun and Stars. It’s a must see for anyone in the area.

I am really enjoying the theme/design of your weblog.
Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues?
A couple of my blog visitors have complained about my blog not
working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.

Do you have any advice to help fix this problem?
